Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and his older brother, Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, have had a famously adversarial relationship, but that might be changing.

The brothers' most recent feud lasted at least 8 years and led to Oasis' 2009 break up, but now Liam says he and his brother have worked out their issues.

"I wanna say Happy Xmas to team [Noel Gallagher]," Liam wrote via his official Twitter account. "It's been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tmorrow [sic]."

If the brothers truly are getting together prior to Christmas, they'll have a lot to talk about, including the massive success each found this year with their respective solo albums.

Liam's new album, As You Were, debuted at #1 in the U.K. and went gold in October. The Noel's High Flying Birds' Who Built the Moon? debuted at #1 a month later in November.

Fans holding out for an Oasis reunion should note that Noel told Q104.3 New York's Jonathan Clarke last month that the feud with his brother had gotten fiercely personal. He added that an Oasis reunion was less likely than The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
