Photo Of Santa Claus Praying With Boy To Help Sick Father Goes Viral

All Jacob wanted for Christmas for his dad to get better. Over the past two years his dad has been in and out of the hospital with a blood disorder and finished his most recent stay on December 10th. When Jacob told Santa about his dad's sickness Santa offered to pray with him to help ease the pain his father was in. Santa told NBC DFW, he "asked that the Lord would help him with the pain and that he would have enough joy in his heart to get through the pain."

Another woman standing in line overheard the heartbreaking conversation and snapped a photo of Santa and the boy praying. She posted it to Facebook and it quickly went viral. Many people reached out and offered to help the family cover the expensive medical costs. The family set up a GoFundMe page which has raised over $1,200.
