Cops: Customers Waited in Church Lot for Unholy Delivery

"Well it's new for us, at least." Such is the pronouncement of an officer with California's Riverside Police Department following the arrest of a couple who allegedly used a drone to transport drugs to waiting customers in a church parking lot. 

Neighbors say once the drugs were received in the lot of East Hills Church, the customers would drive by the Chesapeake Lane home and toss money on the lawn, reports KABC. " It was constant, I'm talking 50 cars a day," a neighbor tells CBS2.

Benjamin Baldassarre, 39, and Ashley Carroll, 31, were arrested Thursday following surveillance by narcotics officers who'd been tipped off by neighbors earlier this month, reports NBC Los Angeles.
