Roy Moore Sues to Block Election Result

Roy Moore has been called many things—but nobody can accuse him of being a quitter. The Republican, who refused to concede after losing the Dec. 12 special Senate election in Alabama, has filed a last-minute complaint to try to block state officials from certifying the victory of Democratic candidate Doug Jones, NBC reports.
His campaign is seeking a restraining order, alleging "potential election fraud that improperly altered the outcome of this election." "This is not a Republican or Democrat issue as election integrity should matter to everyone," Moore said in a statement Wednesday night. Moore's attorney says there should be an investigation and a new election.
