2018's 1st Supermoon On New Year's Day

The New Year is coming in with a big show in the sky.  The first supermoon of 2018 will rise on January 1st.  A supermoon is a full moon that appears bigger and brighter than a typical full moon because of its closeness to the Earth.  If you miss the supermoon on New Years' night, no worries.  

Another one is coming on January 31st.
