Cops, Relatives Plead for Help After Horrific NY Murders

Police and family members are pleading for help finding the suspect or suspects behind a horrific quadruple murder in upstate New York. The four people found dead in a basement apartment have now been identified as Shanta Myers, 36; her 22-year-old partner Brandi Mells; and Myers' two children, 11-year-old Jeremiah and 5-year-old Shanise, the New York Daily News reports.
Shakera Symes, Myers' sister, urged anyone with information to come forward so "that they can help find the person who has destroyed us, emotionally, mentally," the Times Union reports. "It feels like somebody has ripped us to shreds," she told reporters Thursday evening.
