Deleted Breakfast Club Scene Released

Diehard fans of The Breakfast Club have a new scene to memorize. In advance of Criterion Collection's re-release of the 1985 film—to include 50 minutes of never-before-seen footage—Vulture got its hands on a 55-second unreleased clip. It finds Molly Ringwald's character, Claire, in a bathroom with Ally Sheedy's character, Allison. 

Claire criticizes Allison for eating food while "inches away from a live toilet," per CNN.  Allison's silent reply is to eat a potato chip out of a sink. Criterion Collection's 4K digital restoration, which will also include director John Hughes' production notes, is due out Jan. 2. (An early script for The Breakfast Club was recently found in a school cabinet.)
