A 17-year-old O'Fallon, Missouri resident was turned in by his father after discovering some seriously inappropriate photos of a toddler on his son's phone.

Authorities say 17-year-old Andrew Spensberger is facing child pornography charges after his father found photos of his girlfriend's toddler on his son's cell phone on December 30th. The father had reportedly taken the cell phone away while punishing him for other reasons. That's when he discovered photos of a sleeping 2-year-old on his son's device.

Police say an investigation later revealed that Spensberger had planned to sell the photos for cash.

The photos were of a relative of the father's girlfriend.

Spensberger was taken into custody and remains in a county jail on a $10,000 bond.

On 12/30/17, the O’Fallon Police Department received a call to the 400 block of Vine St regarding inappropriate pictures...
