We'd like to congratulate Jordan Peele this Tuesday (Jan. 23) morning. His movie Get Out has been nominated for FOUR Oscars!
The thriller was released back in February 2017 and completely killed -- no pun intended -- in theaters across the country. Without a doubt, it was one of the biggest movies of the year in terms of reviews and popularity. Since then, it's received a number of different nominations from awards show such as the Golden Globes and more. But now, Get Out is officially Oscar nominated.
With four nominations under its belt, Get Out is one of most popular movies at the Academy this year, along with other films like The Shape of Water, Dunkirk, Lady Bird and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The categories that Get Out is being considered for are best picture, Peele for directing, writing (original screenplay), and Daniel Kaluuya for best actor in a leading role.
Peele, of course, couldn't contain his excitement about his project's nominations. See his reactions to them below.

I just spoke to Daniel. You know when you’re on the phone trying to disguise the sound of an ugly cry? I failed at that.

Right now I’m just thinking about everyone who bought a ticket and told someone else to. You did this. Thank you. ✊🏾
