NOW OR NEVER: GOP Must ACT NOW on Real Immigration Reform

National Radio host Buck Sexton weighed-in on the ongoing immigration debate sweeping Congress on Monday night, warning GOP lawmakers this is their last and best chance to achieve meaningful immigration reform before liberal legislators push to grant all-out amnesty.

“This is the issue. The best deal Republicans are ever going to get on immigration has to be now,” said Buck. “If there’s going to be a deal at all… If you wait, at some point you might just have Democrats writing and re-writing the law as they see fit, then you’ll have amnesty.”

“Why was it that President Obama had to rely on executive amnesty for DACA and DAPA when for the first two years of Obama’s presidency you had the House and the Senate?” he asked. “They went with Obamacare instead.”

“Don’t you get the sense that Democrats don’t really want to have to vote on this thing unless they have Republicans giving them cover because amnesty is not popular with the American people,” Sexton said. “All the polls you’ll see on this are the reflections of the intent and efforts of the particular pollster.”

“Chain migration needs to end, I would note that has to be a part of any DACA deal,” Buck added.
