Foghat Unveils 'Slow Ride' Condoms

Foghat has launched its own "Slow Ride" branded condoms, named for the band's signature.

The novelty prophylactics have arrived just in time for Valentine's Day. 

"We have heard the stories of how so many of you were conceived to 'Slow Ride,'" wrote the band in the promo. "That's great! But if you are not yet ready for parenthood, we are here to help!"

And you have to applaud the band's position here; we'll never know how many new Foghat fans don't get conceived because of 'Slow Ride' Condoms!

"Take a 'safe' SLOW RIDE with the one you love...introducing 'Slow Ride' Condoms," read the announcement. "They are ready to ROCK any time you are."

They're available now here, where you can get a 6-pack for $15.  

Foghat is no stranger to out-of-the-box merchandising ideas. As several fans pointed out in the comments on the band's Facebook page, you can also buy wine from Foghat Cellars. 

Formed in 1971, Foghat has remained active for the better part of the last 40 years, with the exception of a multi-year hiatus from the late-'90s to the mid-'00s. 

Foghat is keeping busy in 2018 with tour dates on the books through September. The band will announce more venues this winter. Get all the tour dates here.
