Kesha delivered a powerful, moving all-female performance of “Praying” during the 2018 Grammys on Sunday, January 28, bringing the audience at Madison Square Garden to tears.
The songstress was introduced by Janelle Monae — who delivered an impactful speech about the #TimesUp movement — and performed her comeback single alongside powerhouses Julia Michaels, Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha and Andra Day.
The women all wore white in honor of the movement, which was also represented by white roses at the awards show.
Kesha’s performance and release of her third studio album, Rainbow, comes after her ongoing legal battle with producer Dr. Luke. Rainbow was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, with “Praying” nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance.
After nailing her performance, the women joined together in a group hug, concluding the magical moment.
