Jesus, take the wheel.

Carrie Underwood took to Twitter this week to share she had been caught, for the first time in her life, speeding.

“Well, it happened today,” Carrie wrote Monday. “After 18 years, I can no longer say I’ve never been pulled over for speeding. I feel so ashamed! I may or may not have cried in my car after the cop let me go. #RuleFollower #GrannyDriver #ImSorry.”

The “Something In The Water” singer may not have been behind the wheel while speeding until now, but she was once in the passenger’s seat for a blue light sighting.

In 2013, she tweeted her husband had been pulled over “for going 56 in a 45.”
