Disturbed are back in the studio recording new music for the first time since their sixth studio album, 2015's Immortalized. The Chicago rock band posted a photo on Facebook of a studio console with the caption, "Getting started… #disturbedones"
Before releasing Immortalized, the band went on a hiatus in 2011 after a hectic touring cycle for their previous album, Asylum. Frontman David Draiman said the band would release an acoustic EP before releasing a full follow-up to Immortalized.
Disturbed will headline the 25th annual Rock Fest along with Godsmack and Incubus, which goes down July 12th to the 15th in Cadott, Wisconsin.
