Justin Timberlake's New Album Features Another Country Writer

Chris Stapleton isn’t the only country name that appears in the liner notes of Justin Timberlake’s new album Man of the Woods.

Toby Keith also earned writing credits on the project’s “Sauce,” which samples the Big Dog Daddy’s 2005 No. 1 smash “As Good As I Once Was.”

Justin describes the song as the glue that binds Man of the Woods’ first single “Filthy” and the title track.

“I was mixing the record,” Justin tells Amazon, “and felt like I needed something rhythmic but that had a little bit of edge to it but was still fun like, ‘How do I bridge ‘Filthy’ and ‘Man of the Woods?’”

Meanwhile, Stapleton co-wrote “Say Something,” his duet with Justin, as well as “The Hard Stuff” and “Morning Light.”
