(Lexington, SC)  --  Her interactions with a student are costing a high school assistant principal her job.

Lexington School District Two officials released a statement yesterday about the firing this week of Airport High School's Dawn Diimmler.  She's accused of having what the district calls an unprofessional relationship with a student that could involve criminal activity.

The district notified the Cayce Department of Public Safety last month when it learned of the accusation, and an investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, Airport High Principal Brad Coleman remains on administrative leave, but the district has not explained why.
