50 Cent: I Lied, I Don't Own Millions In Bitcoin, After All

G-G-G-G'd you! 50 Cent is admitting that he actually doesn't have millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin in his pockets, which is contrary to what the rapper-turned-businessman said last month.

According to The Blast, Fif made an appearance in bankruptcy court when he shared this shocking news. “Recent media reports have falsely stated” the artists's legal documents say. They add that 50's “never owned, and does not own, a bitcoin account or any bitcoins, and to the best of his knowledge, none of his companies had a bitcoin account from 2014 to the present.”

TMZ previously reported that Fif accepted Bitcoin payment instead of money for the sales of his 2014 album, Animal Ambition. The outlet said that the rapper collected 700 of these Bitcoins, which was worth more than $7 million. However, it looks like that's not the case.

A new TMZ report claims that Fif "did acknowledge it's possible some online album and merchandise sales may have been made in Bitcoin, but says they would have been converted to U.S. dollars before he ever saw it."
