The Story Behind Flamin' Hot Cheetos Is Being Made Into a Movie

America's most beloved snacks, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, and its origins will be getting the Hollywood treatment. The film, currently titled Flamin’ Hot, will tell the story of Richard Montanez, the janitor who worked at a Frito-Lay plant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA during the 70s who invented the snack. Montanez and his family would put hot sauce on Cheetos and he pitched his creation which would later become a staple in the supermarket.
