Why Doesn't Miley Cyrus Want To Act Anymore?

Miley Cyrus is a multi-talent, but it doesn't sound like the former Disney star has an interest in tending to her acting career in the near future, as per her new cover story for the Spring 2018 issue of Wonderland magazine.
On Thursday (March 1), the former Hannah Montana star's interview surfaced and her remarks about acting might not please those who enjoy seeing her on the screen. "My attention span doesn't love the idea of focusing and being on one project for so many months, especially being a character and not getting to be myself for that amount of time," the 25-year-old entertainer told the magazine, confessing that she gets "really deep into the characters" that she portrays.
Cyrus went on to elaborate that pursuing different roles ultimately makes it hard for her to relate to family and friends. "I'm so deep into that character. So for right now, I am so content with where I am, being someone else doesnβt sound that fun to me," she continued. However, this might not be too huge of a surprise. Cyrus' last role in a blockbuster film was for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and even then she went for an uncredited role to voice the character of Mainframe in a post-credits scene.
While 2018 won't likely see Cyrus take on any acting roles, the star did confirm new music and plenty of side ventures. "I'm really looking forward to all these different projects I have going on this year, and not just musically," she admitted. "Getting to design has always been a dream since my style is such an important part of what I represent. You can always tell where my head and heart is at β because I am likely wearing it."
