Are Developers Still Looking To Build DisneyWorld-Like Park In Casa Grande?

March 2, 2018

WAY BACK in February of last year...

Rumors began of a theme park coming to Casa Grande, Arizona that would rival Disney and Six Flags... but what happened!?!

There was even a map of a planned park at the time called "Dreamport Villages" being built at the junction of Interstate 8 and Interstate 10. It was supposed to be a 1,500-acre “destination resort” which, at the time, was being compared to Walt Disney World.

There was plans to have an indoor recreational facility, water parks, a wildlife animal exhibit, restaurants and an amusement park!

The plans to build this park were original by a Florida-based company, Block Sports Company but no word on if it's still a thing.

:(

Either way, it was a cool idea... but does anyone know what happened or if it's still happening!?! We just want to ride some rollercoaster and splash around.

Hit us up on Facebook and let us know!

"What took Disney to accomplish in 50 years, could be accomplished in Pinal County in as little as 1/4 the time," the plan says.
