Dustin Lynch Shares The Emotions Of Not Getting The Nomination

Following the announcement of award show nominations, social media is filled with cheers and high-fives to all the nominees. We rarely see the emotions of people who didn't get nominated.

Today, Dustin Lynch changes that. Through his daily video series, he shared the moment when he found out that he didn't get nominated for an ACM Award earlier this week. We see his raw immediate reaction, and all the thoughts and emotions that come with that.

He said,"Well, we successfully didn't get nominated again. Career changing song [Small Town Boy], I don't get it. What am I missing you know? Man it just sucks, like we've always said, it's like we're playing with one hand, maybe two tied behind our back."

Those were Dustin's initial words just moments after finding out he wasn't nominated, but he goes on to say - "It changes nothing about today, or how we go about it."

While Dustin didn't get nominated for an ACM Award, he is nominated for an iHeartRadio Music Award for Country Song of the Year. We can't wait to see him in LA next weekend.
