Infant's Cause Of Death Changed After Father's Arrest

Authorities are taking another look at the January 2016 death of an infant boy in St. Tammany Parish, a week after his father was charged in the beating death of his seven-month-old son.

Twenty-five-year-old Corey Nauck is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Carter Nauck.

The baby's death has prompted Coroner Dr. James Preston to reclassify the cause of death for four-month-old Tanner Nauck from being natural to undetermined.

An autopsy found Tanner had no obvious signs of foul play and suffered from severe congenital heart disease.
