Guns N' Roses axe-master Slash and his solo band Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators are rumored to be wrapping up recording a follow-up to their 2014's "World On Fire." According to Blabbermouth, the band has been supposedly working on the album since January and are hoping for a Fall release.
While no official news has been confirmed, rumors started to circulate that a new album was coming after Slash's girlfriend Meegan Hodges commented that the guitarist was in the studio working on a new Conspirators album with Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy. In a radio interview, Kennedy denied the claims, saying there were no solid plans to work with Slash and that he was focusing on touring behind his new solo album, Year of the Tiger, in 2018. He has said in various interviews that the two have about half an album's worth of material but Slash's GNR responsibilities are taking priority.
A fan asked Meegan to clarify her comment, to which she responded, "maybe you should ask the band guys," with a smiley face.
Guns N' Roses' Not In This Lifetime tour has been incredibly successful grossed a whopping $400 million. There are still no plans for the band to record a new album.
