Colorado 'American Idol' Contestant Makes Judges Cringe

American Idol is back!!! And with that also comes those memorably bad auditions. 

The most memorable from the first night was a lady from Colorado. 

Koby, a 26-year-old musical theater performer from Denver, belted out what may have been the longest, loudest, and oddest vocal run in "Idol" history. 

Katy Perry was quick to critique, and neither Luke Bryan nor Lionel Richie saved her. 

Backstage Koby complained bitterly to the camera that “Katy was jealous” of her.
