A man from Washington, D.C. is $100,000 richer after listening to his mother.   Brandon Pree was visiting his mom, Tina, when she encouraged him to play the Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 game using family birthdays for the numbers.  Pree listened to his mother and ended up winning a $100,000 jackpot. After realizing he won, the first thing Pree did was call his mother.  Mom says since she was the inspiration for her son's windfall, she hopes to share in some of the spoils.

Feleke Zergow, also won $100,000 on a Cash 5 ticket purchased just blocks away from where Pree bought his winning ticket.
