Twitter Reacts To Fifth Harmony's Hiatus: The Sad, The Funny & The Loving

Word of Fifth Harmony's indefinite hiatus on Monday morning (March 19) has Harmonizers feeling all sorts of emotions. It's sad. It's predictable. Most notably, it's just been a long time coming for the pop collective, who struggled a bit to get on their feet after Camila Cabello's sudden departure from the group in late 2016. Still, with over six years in the game, it's made for a wild ride, which started out in front of America on the Stateside edition of The X Factor featuring judges Simon Cowell, LA Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
In their statement, 5H reflected on all the non-stop work they've put in their journeys but admitted they must be truthful to their urges for solo pursuits. "Reflecting on the past six years since we started on X-Factor, we've realized just how far we've come and we appreciate everything so much, more now than ever. We've really had one hell of a memorable journey together and can't begin to express our gratitude to y'all for coming along with us on this wild ride!" their statement read. "After six years going hard, non-stop, we also realized that in order to stay authentic to ourselves and to you, we do need to take some time for now to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavors."
"To our Harmonizers, thank you for everything we have been able to build as Fifty Harmony. With your love and encouragement we will continue to build on ourselves, support one another in everything we do, and keep making you proud, each other proud and ourselves proud," the message concluded.
As you might have expected, the news has Harmonizers blowing up Twitter with all kinds of responses and iHeartRadio decided to put some shine on the pop collective one more time before their very end. Take a look below at some of the sad, funny and loving reactions to the word of 5H's indefinite hiatus.
im sad bc we all know fifth harmony never really worked to their full potential and they could have been the biggest girl group of all time, given current media and communication opportunities but i guess some things just arent meant to be

I've been a Fifth Harmony fan since the beginning. I've practically grown up with them and it's really hard for me now that it's over. I'm actually so sad. These girls deserved so much better
