Rattlesnake Season Is Already Starting In Phoenix; Are You Prepared?

WARNING: It's rattlesnake season in the valley and in Southern Arizona! Make sure you watch where you step especially if you live near an open desert.
Couple key steps to take are as follows; Make sure you check your shoes before putting them on, make sure to wear closed toe shoes before stepping outside, make sure to listen for a snakes rattle (This is the first indicator that a snake is ready to strike) and always keep an eye on your children and pets.
According to a recent 12 News article:
"With the warmer temperatures, it’s officially rattlesnake season in the Valley..."
Plus, Daniel Marchand from the Phoenix Herpetological Society says;
"seven out of 10 homeowners that try to deal with a snake end up getting bit. A trip to the ER for bites can start at $200,000..."
