A collection of previously-unseen photos from The Beatles' first U.S. tour recently sold at auction for more than $358,000.

The 413 negatives include 350 images of the Fab Four that have never been seen by the public.

Photographer Mike Mitchell snapped the photos in 1964. They document the band's February 11 concert in Washington D.C. and its September 13 show in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mitchell's photos include shots of the band performing and backstage at both venues.

A previous collection from the D.C. show alone sold in 2011 for over $360,000.

The collection that sold most recently by Omega Auction House were taken only with ambient light and reportedly sat in a basement for decades.

"The photographs are intimate, due to Mitchell's proximity to the band; they are moody, the result of existing light; and they are innocent, reflecting a time of heightened optimism," said auctioneer Paul Fairweather.

Fairweather went on to say the photos are unique for that time period in the band's history.

You can watch Mitchell talk about his photos in the video below. He was just 18 years old when he got press credentials to get behind-the-scenes at the two shows.
