Gucci Mane Offers $1M to Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan To Make New Music

It's almost been four years since Birdman enlisted Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug to create the smash hit "Lifestyle". They would go on to join Birdman's "Rich Gang" collective and work on "Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1". The mixtape was well received by critics and fans alike but unfortunately, the duo wouldn't last for long as they went their separate ways musically due to irreconcilable differences. At one point back in 2015 Thugger during a concert referred to his once friend as "B**** Homie Quan", in a statement from Quan about the incident he said "My first reaction was, My brother, called me b****? "To be honest, not to get in my feelings, it hurt. Not hurt as in I’m gonna cry, but dog, bro, I would never disrespect you, point blank period, especially when we have each other’s numbers."
Since Rich Homie Quan's break from "Rich Gang" their friendship has been an on again/off again relationship as there is no word as to where they stand. Back in late 2015, there seemed to be some hope as Quan posted a picture on Instagram with the Cash Money logo, saying “Let’s turn up. Rich Gang Part 2 on the way,” but unfortunately that never came to fruition.

Although the two rappers friendship seems to be irreconcilable at this point Gucci Mane decided to shoot his shot at bringing the two back together for a new joint project. The Atlanta rapper took to Twitter to try and make the two an offer they couldn't refuse.
"I got a million cash for @RichHomieQuan and @youngthug to do one mixtape at the brand new #PolarBearStudios #NoCap 12songs from scratch! #NoCap brrr!!!"
A million dollars from big guwop sounds like an extremely interesting offer but Young Thug replied to Gucci Mane's tweet saying "U no I’m the n***** got u together wen u came home kid... I’m strait 4life". His response although seemingly may be him shooting down the offer could also mean something entirely different.
We do know however that Thug plans on not releasing any music in 2018 in support of his deaf brother. He also changed his name to "SEX" so who knows what Thugger could actually be saying or have in store. Maybe a "Rich Gang" reunion between the two is more likely than it seems, but probably not in 2018 as Thug will probably stick to his decision to not drop music this year.
