Donald Glover Releases Mock 'Deadpool' Series Script After It's Cancelled

Over the weekend, we learned that Donald Glover's "Deadpool: The Animated Series" was cancelled by FX.

“Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s ‘Deadpool’ animated series, FX will no longer be involved with the project,” the network said in a statement. “FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on ‘Legion,’ which will continue.”

Though Glover didn't elaborate on the “creative differences” he had with the TV execs, the star went on social media on Wednesday (March 28) morning and posted a mock script of what would've been his new TV series about the Marvel superhero. "For the record: I wasn't too busy to work on 'Deadpool,'" he tweeted before the extensive script.

The 15-page work was titled "Finale" and it even has a funny 'Who bit Beyoncé?'" joke in it. Plus, there's a section of the script where Glover hints at some behind-the-scenes drama that took place before his show's cancellation. "Do you think they canceled the show because of racism?! Yeah, all the writers were black. The references were pretty black, too," the script read. "I heard they went over lunch budget ordering Jamaican food at least once a week."
