Ginuwine And JD Lawrence On Their New Show, TGT, Infidelity + More

RnB icon Ginuwine and the self-proclaimed "King of Dramedy" JD Lawrence, a writer, director, and producer of Urban stage plays, stop by The Breakfast Club to talk about their upcoming show Your Husband Is Cheating On Us. The show premieres on Bravo April 1st at 9/8c. Your Husband Is Cheating On Us will document the behind the scenes drama of the production of the play of the same name that is directed by JD. He'll use unorthodox creative methods with his cast, Ginuwine, D’atra Hicks, Tondy Gallant, Lia Grant, Kristen Plati, and Jermaine Sellers. The cast has 8 weeks to learn their lines and the crew all live in the same house.
Ginuwine explains why he's taking time off the road to film the show and why it interested him. He also opens up about his divorce, why he misses being married, and how owning up and taking responsibility for his infidelities. The "Pony" singer also discussed meeting his ex-wife's new husband and how he dealt with it maturely and how therapy and church have helped him deal with the suicide of his father. He also talked about co-owning S.P.R.U.C.E. with his ex-wife, group homes that help people that face mental and physical challenges, by helping them to cope with life's daily struggles so that they can lead normal lives.
During his appearance on Big Brother, Ginuwine received backlash after refusing to kiss a trans-woman co-star India Willoughby. He explained how he didn't understand why it was such a big issue until he left the house and explained his stance.
TGT, his group with Tyrese and Tank, is no more according to Ginuwine. Tyrese was much more focused on himself rather than the greater good of the group. Even though the two weren't on the best terms, Ginuwine talked about reaching out to Tyrese during his breakdown.
