Kane Brown is using his star for good.

The rising country superstar recently revealed during the No. 1 celebration for his latest chart topper “What Ifs” that as he continues to become more successful, he hopes to lend a helping hand "if things come to [him] that [he] fit[s] with.”

“For a long time, I wasn’t at a place where I felt like I had a platform where I could help people,” Kane says. “Now that I can, I feel like the [opportunities] kind of come to me on their own.”

In September 2017, Kane addressed the U.S. Senate at a congressional briefing organized to discuss the housing crisis. He also partnered with Make Room last year to raise awareness of the rising rent costs.

“When I was younger, my mom and I lived in a car because we didn't have anywhere else to go,” Kane shared at the time. “After graduating from high school, even though I was working, I didn't have enough money to pay rent, so I stayed with my Nana.”

Kane is currently Chris Young’s Losing Sleep World Tour.
