School Counselor Has Sex w/ Student FIVE MONTHS Into Job

A counselor at Spartanburg Day School has admitted she would text, call, or FaceTime in the day and meet in her private office after hours with a 16-year-old student. The 25-year-old had only been with the school five months before the inappropriate relationship began.

She claims the relationship ended days before she was reported to police. Ms Prendergast was charged with sexual battery with a student. The parents of the 16-year-old pay up to $19,000 in tuition for their son to attend.
