An alleged rape victim of Michael Leslie Bernback is urging other women who were victimized by the former contestant on Millionaire Matchmaker to come forward and share their story ahead of his trial for rape. Bernback was charged in August 2015 following allegations that he drugged and raped three women after luring them back to his "house of horrors." Police said that he would troll "adult websites seeking companionship with women" and offer to pay them for their services. Once they arrived, he would force them "to participate in sexual activities that were injurious to the victims."

One of the victims said that Bernback ruined her life. After he sexually assaulted her she lost her job, can no longer date and has become homeless.

Police did not allow Jane Doe to elaborate on the alleged conduct, but she told reporters she remains traumatized by the encounter. She said she has lost her jobs and friends, has social phobias, no longer dates and has become homeless.

"He ruined my life," she said.

Bernback is facing eight felonies but has been out on bail as he awaits his trial. The alleged victim said that she is scared because he is free, and wants other victims to come forward and help "put this man away," describing him as "a very sick person."

LAPD Lt. Jim Gavin described Bernback's home as a "fortress" with only one way in or out. He said police know of at least eight other victims who were lured to his "house of horrors" where they were drugged and raped. Bernbeck preyed on young women between the ages of 20 and 24, and most of his victims were molested as children. He urged other victims to come forward and tell their story.

“We are seeking additional victims who are afraid and who are ashamed to come forward to step forward now to help us end this," the lieutenant said. "Please, you are not alone, we are here to help."
