10 Things We Learned From Safaree's Interview

1. He's not down with the "no snitching" street code when it comes to him being robbed and his life being put in jeopardy" 

In the interview, Safaree said following the "street code" won't do nothing for him and that he is a "grown ass man". He also followed up saying that the law is the law and that the person who did it should be held responsible no matter what, especially if it was someone close to him "It's going to be really good for me to know who it is, but I definitely feel like it's someone I know who has something to do with it."

2. His 'Love & Hip Hop' co-star JuJu was him at the precinct with him the night of the robbery!

Juju was brought up in conversation when Safaree was speaking on having a girlfriend saying that people always think that they were together. They may have never been together but they are definitely friends saying "She's an amazing person and was at the precinct with me". Although she may be the type of chick that he may need, he's not ready for something like that yet. 

3.The robbers had zero desire to steal the red fur coat he was wearing. 

It seems like the robbers had stripped everything from the Rapper except for his huge red coat, Safaree said: "it was probably too big to carry". He also adds that he has seen the camera footage from the robbery and he saw himself laying out on the floor in the coat.  

4. His uncle being murdered recently during a robbery is the reason why the robbery left him so traumatized and shaken up. 

Part of the reason why being robbed left Safaree so shaken up was because back in August of 2017, his 64-year-old uncle was found stabbed to death in California. In the interview, he said "the last thing I'm thinking is what would my mother have to go through if she got that call" 

After the death of his uncle, he reached out on the internet asking people and fans to help find his uncle's killer. In a lengthy Instagram post from last year, he wrote 

"You were always so proud of me and proud I was your nephew... I'm Numb right now.. I'm only doing this because I want to bring awareness to some1 killing my uncle vern Vincent Roper and getting them caught. Palmdale California isn't that big of a place so I know someone knows what happened and you will be caught. My last uncle in America man I can't believe this...this shit hurts. The last pic he sent me. Can't remember the last time I felt pain like this. Can't stop crying.. everything I do is gonna be for you. #palmdale #california"

5. He already had planned on wearing a special outfit and colorful fur to come see Angie but had to come with the clothing from the night before due to the robbery. 

Before he was robbed he planned on pulling up to Angie in a whole new fit with a "colorful" fur that no one has ever seen before yet. He said he's gonna pull up on Angie another time with the new fur. 

6. After his nudes leaked his fame rose to a level he wasn't expecting and he was even contacted by a porn company.

When asking Safaree about the nude photos that leaked online Angie said: "Safaree I did think before I knew you that you might have leaked your own photo". Safaree went on to explain how his nieces and his mother follow him. His mother also knows everything that happens to him the second it happens. He had sent the photo to someone (who he wouldn't name) but he believes that the person he sent it too went around showing everyone. The nudes leaking also lead to him dropping his single "Hunnid", which recently charted on Itunes! He originally had wanted to drop the song with the video but since the leak, he thought he needed something else to talk about besides the pictures. 

7. He would consider doing porn if the price was right, but it has to be "life-changing money"

When asked if any porn companies have reached out to him since the nudes leaked he said that a "sex toy" company reached out as well as some pornstar who went on to offer him 50K to do a movie, which he rejected. If he was offered 50 Million to do a movie he said he would "I would get my Safaree coconut oil, rub it all over myself, do some push-up and sit-ups, and ask for the address of the scene".

8. All his jewelry was insured and he fully plans to replace it all.  Can't let the robbers feel like they won.

As traumatizing as the experience was for the New York Rapper he opened up about everything that was taken saying he had atleast 175K worth of Jewlrey on him at the time of the robbery. "I ain't gone lie, me not re-uping its like saying that they won". After the robbery, he contemplated why he even had that much jewelry on during the robbery. 

9. He would have given Nicki Minaj a kidney if she needed it.

After the interview, Safaree joined Angie for "Trending Topics". It just so happened that The Weeknd was trending that day for talking about Selena Gomez on his new EP "My Dear Melancholy" alluding to the fact that he was willing to give her a kidney. When Angie asked if he would have done the same for someone he brought up Nicki Minaj and said that he would do it even though it would be a hard surgery. 

10. He and Nicki Have Not Spoken but he wishes he could have a cordial relationship with her.

Safaree said he doesn't want to get back with Nicki Minaj but he wants to be cordial with her. While not admitting to trying to reconcile with Nicki, Angie called him out for being out here in the comments section. He also said they blocked each other so there's no way that his comment creeping could be true.
