Brittany Aldean Shares Fertility Struggles

Like many Americans, Jason Aldean and wife Brittany struggled to conceive.

Mrs. Aldean opens up about the couple’s fertility struggles in a new podcast with Babes & Babies, revealing she was diagnosed with endometriosis after several failed In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) attempts.

“Memphis was our last [egg],” Brittany says of the couple’s now 4-month-old son. “So it was like, if this doesn’t work—I was considering a surrogate. We were thinking about all the options.”

Brittany adds the IVF process took a total of 18 months and a procedure following her diagnosis eventually led the pair to conceive their son. 

Despite the difficult process, Brittany goes on to say she hopes to have one more baby. But Jason still has his doubts.

“This morning Memphis was screaming, and Jason turned over in bed and was like, ‘And you want to do this again soon?’” she says.
