The Warwickshire Police Department is being ridiculed online after they released a "hilarious" computer-generated sketch of a suspect who is accused of distracting a woman while his accomplice robbed her home.
Police said the two men told the woman they were from Orbit Housing and tricked their way into her home in early February. While one of the men distracted the woman, the other ransacked her apartment stealing cash. The woman realized what the two were doing and ordered them to leave her home. They complied and left with the cash.
Police released a sketch of one of the men, which was generated by a computer using information from the victim, asking for help locating the suspect. People on Twitter were quick to mock the "hilarious" sketch.

One person joked that he messaged her on Snapchat because the police sketch looks more like a Snapchat filter than a real police drawing.

The department responded to the critical tweets confirming that the sketch was real and they hoped it would help lead to the arrest of the two men.
We can confirm that this is real and that we anticipated the attention! But jokes aside, it was created from a description provided and it's serious as a woman was victim of a horrible crime. Hopefully the attention will mean we identify the offender/bring him to justice quicker
