Perth ‘Swinger Paedophile Ring’ Mum Faces 81 New Charges

April 6, 2018

A 39-year-old WA woman has been further charged with 81 child sex offences as part of an ongoing investigation into the abuse of her daughter and other children.

Taskforce Mirzam was launched in February following the discovery of a recording device containing videos showing men and women engaging in sexual acts with the girl.

It will be alleged the woman abused her daughter, son and a 14-year-old girl between 2011 and 2016.

She is now facing a total of 93 offences including 55 counts of indecent dealing with a child, 17 counts of sexual penetration of a child and three counts of stupefying.

Police allege at least some of the abuse took place during organised "swinging" parties staged to allow group sex activities in Perth.

Three people have now been charged in connection with the suspected sexual abuse of five young children, and police said last week further arrests and dozens more charges were likely.

The woman has been refused bail and is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday.
