Carrie Underwood to Debut New Single on the ACM Awards

Gone since the CMAs. Back on the ACMs.
Carrie Underwood will make her long-awaited return Sunday (April 15) on the 53rd ACM Awards to deliver the world television premiere of her brand-new single, which officially drops Wednesday.
The country music superstar and 13-time ACM winner is also nominated this year for both Female Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for "The Fighter" with Keith Urban.

Carrie joins a long list of ACM performers, including Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett--just to name a few.
"The Champion" singer makes her return to the spotlight following a mysterious few months, during which she's kept out of the public eye after a November "freak accident" on stairs outside her home in Nashville.
