Kris Jenner Explains Khloe Kardashian's Daughter's Name True

In a post on social media, Khloe Kardashian revealed the name of her new baby girl: True Thompson. And if you're wondering where the baby's name came from, never fear, Kris Jenner is here ... to explain.

In an Instagram post of her own, Kris posted a photo of pink balloons, along with the caption that reveals the name True actually runs in the family! Apparently, True was the first name of Kris's grandfather and the middle name of her father. She wrote:

"I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT... my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton....my Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton...so i am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family @true"

And, if you'll notice the very last tag in that caption, it links to what is now True's official Instagram. That's right! True Thompson is already on the Gram y'all! Although nothing has been posted to the account yet, the little one already has over 35,000 followers (at the time of this article).

So, there you have it! True is an actual name that actually runs in the Kardashian family -- or at least the Houghton family, anyways.

Khloe welcomed little baby girl True into the world on April 12th. True's father, Tristan Thompson, was in the delivery room for the birth in Cleveland, but was seen leaving the hospital shortly after. The state of Khloe and Tristan's relationship is up in the air following the NBA player's cheating scandal, with some outlets reporting that Khloe has forgiven Thompson, while others are reporting the Kardashian family is furious at him.

After Khloe made the big baby name reveal, social media erupted with reactions, many of which related to Tristan's numerous reports of cheating. And some of them relating to the Nickelodeon show starring Keke Palmer, True Jackson VP. Take a look at some of the reactions below.
