AVON LAKE - Three bald eaglets have hatched in their nest near Redwood Elementary School in Avon Lake.

Proud parents "Stars and Stripes" welcomed the their third baby on Sunday evening. The school has been monitoring the nest via video camera and the school streams what's happening live on youtube.

That live stream allowed fans to watch the first two eggs hatch on Friday.  The newest trio are the latest editions of a half dozen or so to hatch over the last three years, with Stars and Stripes being the proud parents of them all.

The video stream will remain available at all times, so you can watch the eaglets feed and, eventually, learn to fly.
