Neil Young and his longtime friend and former Buffalo Springfield and CSNY bandmate Stephen Stills reunited over the weekend at a charity benefit in Los Angeles.
Young and Stills performed "Long May You Run, "For What It's Worth" and "Mr Soul" together before being joined by Patti Smith for "People Have the Power."
The Light Up the Blues event was put on by Stills and his wife as a benefit for Autism Speaks.
Rolling Stones reports that Young performed a few songs of his own and then welcomed Stills, whom he referred to as his "brother," onto the stage with him.
Young and Stills went on to perform songs from their mutual catalog, closing out the evening with all the night's performers, including Smith and Burt Bacharach with the song "What the World Needs Now Is Love."
Stills told the audience he would see them for next year's benefit.
