The subway station underneath the World Trade Center will open for the first time since the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The Cortlandt Street Subway stop was crushed when the Twin Towers collapsed on September 11th 2001. MTA officials say it's on track to run One Line trains into the station in October. Former Governor George Pataki said at the time the rebuilding of the station will impact a million people and send a powerful message that New York cannot be stopped.
