Cleveland Indians Sign Outfielder Melky Cabrera to Minor League Deal

The Cleveland Indians announced on Wednesday that the team has signed 33 year old Outfielder Melky Cabrera to a minor league deal. Cabrera has played for 7 other teams, which most recently was the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox last year. Cabrera is a career .286 hitter and played in only 58 games last year. Cabrera best year was 2011, when he clubbed 18 HR and drove in 87 runs.
