100 mile yard sale underway on Route 29 through Sunday

May 3, 2018 - The 100 Mile Yard Sale running along Route 29 from Danville to Lynchburg kicked off Thursday.

Hundreds of people and organizations will be participating, including churches, humane societies and schools.

Buyers can expect to see typical yard sale items such as clothes and furniture, but there will also be bake sales, fresh produce, and food trucks at some locations. 

Times for each yard sale vary, but most will open around 7 a.m. and close when it gets dark.

The yard sale will run through Sunday.
