Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel completed the terms of his plea deal in a domestic violence case stemming from an incident in Dallas in 2016 with his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley. He was ordered to complete an anger management class, participate in domestic violence impact panel and was barred from having any contact with CrowleyWith the case closed, Dallas police released their entire file from the case.

According to TMZ, the files contain witness statements and include photos of Crowley's injuries. The files detail what happened on January 29th when the two agreed to meet at a hotel. They were broken up at the time of the meeting but got into an argument which led to Manziel assaulting Crowley for the first time that night, when he threw her onto a bed. When she tried to leave, he blocked her exit and threw her to the ground.

The two continued to argue, but Manziel eventually agreed to take Crowley to her car. During the car ride, their argument continued to escalate. Crowley said she escaped from the car and hid in the bushes where Manziel found her and threw her back into the car, which caused bruising and pain in her back. Manziel then slapped her with an open hand, causing her eardrum to rupture. The police report said that Crowley told police "she felt like she was going to die or get beaten really bad."

Manziel then drove Crowley back to her apartment, and when she tried to FaceTime her parents, he took her phone and smashed it on the ground. She then grabbed a knife for protection and fled to a neighbors house, and her neighbor called 911.
