A mother from England is warning parents about the dangers of the latest craze, the "Deodorant Challenge," after her daughter suffered second-degree burns while attempting the challenge. The challenge involves spraying deodorant on your bare skin for as long as possible.

Jamie Prescott shared the horrific results of the challenge on Facebook. She said the large yellow, bubbling wound may require skin grafts to heal the burns. She explained that her daughter Elle has been receiving treatment for the burns and that the photos were taken three weeks after she suffered the injury.

Elle said the challenge is "fairly common" at her school and that when she tells people how she burned her arm, they show off their scars from when they attempted it.

"My friend did it a year ago and has a scar but said it wasn't as painful as mine. When I show people my injury they lift up their sleeves and show that they've all had it done too."

Jamie said that she hates "being in the limelight and writing public posts and having attention" but that "if we can prevent just one more child from going through this, it will be worth it."

"Even if we can prevent just one more child from going through this, it will be worth it. I absolutely hate being in the limelight and writing public posts and having attention, but in this particular instance this challenge really needs to be made as public as possible. It's just horrendous and needs stopping."

WARNING: GRAPHIC PHOTOS

I seldom rarely do this, but on this occasion, I would like this post spread wide and far.....For any parents who have...
