For her latest Vogue cover story, Rihanna admitted that Drake's speech for her Video Vanguard Award at the 2016 MTV VMAs made her feel really awkward.
During the speech, Drizzy professed his love for the star, who he said that he'd been in love with ever since he was 22 years old. Speaking about the moment to the fashion publication, Riri said: "The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal. Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don't like too many compliments. I don't like to be put on blast."
Then, Rihanna added that they don't have a friendship anymore, either. "We don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either. It is what it is," she said. Just a few hours after this interview was published, Drake was spotted looking very upset at an NBA Playoff game. Many on social media joked that his appearance had to do with Riri admitting they're not cool any longer.
Fast forward to all of these days later and it looks like Drake is still in his feelings. On Tuesday (May 8), the twitter account for Pop Crave tweeted that the rapper unfollowed Rihanna from IG. See that below.
