Kim Kardashian Tweets About Kanye West Missing The 2018 Met Gala

Kim Kardashian looked like a bonafide stunner in a minimal gold dress by Versace at the 2018 Met Gala, but the star was missing one thing during the event: her husband Kanye West.

Amid the annual fashion extravaganza, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night (May 7), Kardashian found some time to show love to West, who is currently held up in Wyoming working on his string of new albums. After the hip-hop titan shared a photo of the star on Twitter, she retweeted his message alongside the caption: "Love you babe wish you were here with meeeeee but you're only finishing up 5 albums." She also added a heart, flame and crying laughing emoji.

Even though it would have been nice to see the power couple joining forces once again on the carpet, West could use a break from the public eye. After a controversial week of press, which saw him drop an almost-two-hour interview with Charlamagne tha God, proclaim that slavery was a choice on TMZ and all the tweets in between, laying low is probably the best thing that the rapper could do for himself. As per TMZ, the rapper will be in the mid-west for several weeks to put the finishing touches on his new projects. "Sources tell TMZ, Kanye flew out of L.A. Wednesday for the secluded home he's rented in Wyoming ... literally on a mountaintop," TMZ reported last week. "Kanye's spent a lot of time there over the last few months, flying in various rappers and producers to help with his music."
