Police in Vancouver, Canada arrested a man after he allegedly started throwing furniture out of the window of is his 19th-floor apartment. Nobody was injured, but a car was damaged by the falling pieces of furniture. Authorities said they believed the man was on drugs and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Video of the incident was posted to Reddit by user victoria-n. The user described "hearing really loud crashing noises" and that "cops swarmed the place" to take the man into custody.

At first I was hearing really loud crashing noises, and glass shattering. It echoed all over the neighbourhood. Few more crashes and I’m thinking someone’s down there breaking car windows.

Turns out this person is chucking large pieces of furniture and glass out their very high window. First few crashes I hear a man on the street yelling at the top of his lungs to make them stop. Kept on goin. Cops swarmed the place.

The unidentified 56-year-old man is facing charges of "mischief, for damages caused to an unoccupied parked vehicle, the apartment building and mischief for endangering lives." It is unclear what caused him to start tossing his furniture from his window.
